Voter Registration Information
Park County holds elections every 2 years (even numbered years). The Primary Election is August and the General Election is in November of even number years (2018, 2020, 2022...etc). If you missed voting in the last General Election, then your voter registration is inactive and you will have to re-register.
What are the requirements to register to vote in Wyoming?
In order to register to vote, you must meet the following qualifications:
- 18 years of age on Election Day;
- U.S. Citizen;
- Resident of Wyoming and the precinct in which you register;
- Withdraw voter registration from any other jurisdiction, if applicable;
- Present a valid Wyoming driver's license (If you do not have your current valid driver's license with you, you must provide the number along with additional acceptable identification as defined below: (Acceptable Identification);
- If you have not been issued a Wyoming driver's license or yours is expired, you must provide:
- A statement to that effect;
- The last four digits of your social security number; and
- Additional acceptable identification (see below).
- If you have neither a valid Wyoming driver's license nor a social security number, please indicate this by checking the appropriate box on the Voter Registration Application form and contact your County Clerk.
- Not been convicted of a felony, or if convicted, has had civil or voting rights restored.
- Not adjudicated mentally incompetent.
Acceptable Identification If you do not have a Wyoming Driver’s License
Any One of the below
- U.S. Passport
- Out of State Driver's License
- Military ID
- ID issued by local, state, or fedreal agency
- WY Student ID
Any Two of the below
- Cert of US citizenship or naturalization
- Draft Record
- VR Card from another State
- Original or certified copy of birth certificate
- Any other form of ID issued by official agency
15 days or more before the election

To register less than 15 days before the election in the Elections's Office, you must also cast your vote at that time. Bring a Photo ID. You may need to wait in line, so please allow extra time.

Go to the Wyoming Secretary of State Web Page. See item 2 under ‘How do I Register to Vote’. Remember to take photo ID to the Notary Public. Sign the voter Registration Application in front of a Notary Public. Enclose copies of the ID shown to the Notary with your completed Voter Registration Application. Be aware that Federal law requires a voter who has registered by mail to present photo ID prior to voting for the first time after registering.
